  1. Caitlin – an adventerous ending… with so many twists and turns! Sometimes it is useful to focus in on one idea … and keep the other ideas for other chapters/adventures/stories. I keep an A-Z ideas book. Then when I am wiring, i can choose a single idea and build a mind-map around it, before then plotting a story/poem. try it. I really like the voice of refelction in your story.

Codie – Snowman clonning, now who would have thought. Ice burger… imagainative! So what was behind the door?

Lewis – Reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, but I guess this would be ‘Lewis and Ben in Winter Wonderland’ … down the hole, across the iceberg, through the cave…and back again!

Trinity – I love surprises. Wasn’t expecting the twist you put inot yours. Well done! Certainly echeos the message ‘Christmas is about family’.

A really excellent selection! I’m sure your teachers are very proud of these and rightly so! What talented bunch of authors you are!

Caitlin – it’s great to see you using a wider range of punctuation; it really makes your writing interesting to read!
Codie – you are really developing your own writing style. I like the way you have asked rhetorical questions and added extra bits of information in brackets.
Lewis – brilliant description of the “icy cave”.
Trinity – your description of the extremely loud and powerful voice is really effective.

Well done to all of you.
